The relative importance of innate immunepriming in Wolbachia-mediated dengue interference | World Mosquito Program Skip to main content
Whole genome microarray studies show that Wolbachia induces transcription of some immunity related genes in the mosquito Aedes aegypti‚ but not in its natural host Drosophila melanogaster. This suggests that immune priming by Wolbachia might not be the only mechanism responsible for viral interference.
